With Canon and Nikon stopping production on their ultra fast lenses years ago, Leica offered the only (and expensive) option. Noktor was started in response to this limited selection of fast lenses for photography and cinematography.
Our goal is to enable new creative possibilities by creating high quality lenses for photographers and filmmakers interested in low-light shooting.
At open aperture, the lens renders pictures and video with extreme shallow depth of field for a dreamy and unique aesthetic.
